【Summary】
A 29-year-old female patient with severe dry eyes could not wear contact lenses for a long time. She went to the ophthalmologist and was judged to have dry eye syndrome. The treatment of the ophthalmologist was not effective, thus she sought help from traditional Chinese medicine finally. Due to considerations for her work, she could not use eye acupuncture because she wants to avoid medical marks of bruises on her face, so she switched to silver spoon needle acupuncture to treat dry eye syndrome. After using silver spoon needle therapy, the patient’s condition improved well, and she could wear the contact lens again. Since no case related to the silver spoon needle was found in the search of journals, this case report is proposed to share the experience with colleagues.
