中医治疗颜面神经麻痹并发乾眼症之病例报告

Facial Nerve Paralysis Complicated with

Dry Eye Syndrome: A Case Report.

【摘要】

这位 72 岁女性患者因十年前听神经瘤手术後，疑似伤及第七对脑神经，饱受右侧颜面神经麻痹所苦，甚至出现眼睛、右侧鼻孔及嘴巴严重乾燥的症状，西医予以修格兰氏症候群（乾燥症）的诊断，但服用西药改善有限，双眼乾涩问题仍存。因此患者至中医门诊就诊，在经过几个月持续服用中药治疗後，患者眼睛乾涩的症状得到大幅改善，原先一日十数次眼药水的使用现只需 2-3 次，有时甚至不需使用，藉此病例报告提出治疗经验，提供临床上的叁考及使用。

【Summary】

The 72-year-old female patient suffered from right facial nerve palsy due to a suspected injury to the seventh cranial nerves after an acoustic neuroma operation ten years ago, and even experienced severe dryness of eyes, right nostril and mouth. Diagnosis of Sjogren’s syndrome (Sicca syndrome) was given, but the symptoms improvement was scant by taking medication therapy, and the problem of dry eyes persist while artificial tears usage. Therefore, the patient went to the Chinese medicine OPD for help. After several months of continuous treatment with TCM, the symptoms of dry eyes of the patient were greatly improved. The use of eye drops that used to be more than ten times a day is now only 2-3 times, and sometimes it is not necessary. Through this case report, we hope to propose clinical reference and clinical treatment.
