【摘要】

|
福斯氏角膜内皮细胞失养症（Fuchs Endothelial Corneal Dystrophy）为一显性遗传疾病，并以角膜内皮细胞加速性地减少为主要特徵，而角膜移植手术为目前唯一的根本治疗方法(1)。本案例为一44 岁男性，於2018 年1 月台北慈济医院诊断角膜内皮细胞失养症，当时角膜内皮细胞数2342/2247（右眼/ 左眼），半年後复诊1919/1715。2018 年11 月於花莲慈济医院中医科就诊，并接受每周1-2 次针刺治疗。在无服用任何药物的情况下，2020 年9 月复检角膜内皮细胞数2500/2571，并在视力受限等主观症状上得到明显改善。因此针刺治疗案例效果显着，故分享给中西医同道，期望作为临床医师的治疗叁考。

【Summary】

|
Fuchs endothelial corneal dystrophy which is a kind of autosomal dominant inheritable disease results in accelerated decrease of corneal endothelium cells. For decades, corneal keratoplasty has been the only definite treatment option for FECD. This case is a 44-year-old male who was diagnosed with endothelial corneal dystrophy in Taipei Tzu Chi hospital in January 2018. His examination of the amount of corneal endothelium cells was 2342/2247 (Right/Left eye) then, and showed 1919/1715 after 6 months. In November 2018, He came to the department of Chinese Medicine in Hualien Tzu Chi hospital and started the acupuncture treatment 1-2 times per week. Without any oral drugs, his examination of the amount of corneal endothelium cells elevated to 2500/2571 in September 2020. The symptoms of visual impairment significantly improved after the continuous acupuncture treatment. As a consequence, we share this successful case to all doctors and hope it could be used as a reference for the treatment of endothelial corneal dystrophy.
