【摘要】
背景慢性肾脏病患者能不能吃中药已经争论了许久,从民国九十二年的马兜铃酸事件开始,几乎每年都有吃中药会加速肾脏恶化,甚至是洗肾的新闻。以整个台湾为范围的大规模长时间研究发现,慢性肾脏病患者在接受一般西医照护的情况下,如果再加上合格中医师的治疗,可以降低恶化成肾脏衰竭风险,也可以降低死亡率。呼吁民众一定要找合格的专业中医师,切莫自行购买来路不明的中药,更不建议自己去路边采草药回来煮。

Summary
Chronic kidney disease patients can eat Chinese medicine has been debated for a long time. Almost every year since the aristolochic acidosis in 2003 reported that people eating Chinese medicine would accelerate the deterioration of the kidneys and even kidney failure. A nationwide large-scale, long-term study found that patients with chronic kidney disease who underwent general western care and combined with appropriate Chinese medicine could reduce the risk of kidney failure and also reduce their mortality. We urge people to look for qualified professional Chinese medicine practitioners, do not buy unknown Chinese medicines themselves, and do not recommend picking and cooking herbs themselves.
